Top-10 finishes with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series

Taking advantage of an off weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Brandon Overton joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series for a Kentucky doubleheader.

In Friday’s opener at Lake Cumberland Speedway, Overton advanced four positions in the feature after finishing fourth in his heat, ultimately crossing the line in eighth.

Returning to action Saturday at Florence Speedway for the $20,000-to-win main event, Overton set the pace in his 18-car qualifying group and backed it up with a heat race win. However, he struggled to find rhythm in the 50-lap finale, settling for a 10th-place finish.
