Top-10 finish in USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway
Brandon Overton’s northern swing with the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series continued over the weekend as Cedar Lake Speedway hosted the 38th USA Nationals.
The event opened Thursday with a preliminary feature, where Overton recorded an 11th-place finish. He then locked into Saturday’s $100,000-to-win finale with a third-place run in his Friday heat race. Overton also competed in the F.A.N.S. Fund Dash on Friday evening for a $2,500 top prize, finishing seventh.
Starting from the seventh row in Saturday’s 100-lap main event, Overton advanced five positions to secure a ninth-place finish.
