Ninth-place finish in Bama Bash finale at Talladega Short Track

A weekend with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series brought Brandon Overton and the Riggs Motorsports Longhorn Factory Team to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday for the two-day Bama Bash.

After a slow start in Friday’s preliminary, Overton advanced into Saturday’s Bama Bash finale with a flag-to-flag victory in his heat race. With a $12,000 payday up for grabs, Brandon posted a ninth-place finish in the 50-lap affair.
