Overton finishes fifth in High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway
Brandon Overton continued his Midwestern swing on Tuesday as Marshalltown Speedway hosted Round 4 of the FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota miniseries.
After setting fast time in qualifying and winning his heat race, Overton led twice during the 50-lap feature before ultimately finishing second. He joined race winner Hudson O’Neal and third-place finisher Bobby Pierce on the podium.
Shifting focus to the High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway, Overton collected a pair of top-10 finishes in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned preliminary features—ninth on Thursday and eighth on Friday.
In Saturday night’s $50,000-to-win finale, Overton started 11th and advanced six positions during the 75-lap main event to close out the weekend with a fifth-place finish.
